MAPEI ULTRABOND ECO 907 ADHESIVE® has been formulated to create a permanent bond for EASYCOVE preformed base coving to various substrates in a fast and convenient manner.
MAPEI ULTRABOND ECO 907 ADHESIVE®’s excellent bond strength, smooth consistency, and quick setting attributes make it an easy choice. We do not recommend typical construction adhesives that have not been tested by our company. MAPEI ULTRABOND ECO 907 ADHESIVE is specially formulated for fast-track repairs and as an excellent adhesive for flooring accessory installations.

COVERAGE:
Mapei Adhesive, 20 oz sausage will secure approximately 15 linear feet of Easycove.
Tack time: 15 to 30 min
Working time: 30 min. Cure time: 120 to 150 min. Set-time may be accelerated by a light misting of water over the extruded adhesive prior to installing Easycove.

Product Application
Apply using 20 oz sausage industrial caulk gun. Apply using 20 oz sausage industrial caulk gun. Product test data for Mapei Ultrabond ECO 907 Adhesive is based on environmental temperatures of 73°F and 50% humidity. Viscosity and working time are always affected by temperatures above or below that mark, humidity, substrate porosity, and job site conditions. When applying product – always consider the ambient surface, and product temperature at the time and place of installation. Only apply as much as adhesive as can be installed within 30 minutes under normal temperature and humidity conditions.
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE:
- Refer to the Easycove’s Mapei Adhesive technical data sheet.
PRODUCT STORAGE:
- DO NOT allow EASYCOVE Adhesive products to freeze.
- All Easycove products should be properly stored above the floor on pallets or shelves, and in an area that has a constant minimum temperature of 50 F (10 C).
SURFACE PREPARATION
Always apply EASYCOVE products to a clean / sound substrate that is free of laitance, grease, oils, debris, and curing compounds. Concrete substrates should be cured for a minimum of 28 days prior to application of product
Whenever possible, remove existing coatings and/or flooring systems completely; if complete removal is not possible always perform tests to determine adhesion and compatibility to the existing flooring
A roughened substrate similar to an ICRI CSP-2 is the desired surface preparation for long-term performance. inadequate surface prep may contribute to pre-mature adhesion failure.
